Rob Giampietro      

Director of Design at the Museum of Modern Art; Former Creative Lead at Google

Rob Giampietro is director of design at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, leading efforts with a creative team to open an expanded MoMA.

From 2015 to 2018, he was creative lead at Google in New York, where he managed the Google Design website launch, a company-wide UX refresh, and Google AI R&D efforts, among other projects. From 2010 to 2015, Giampietro was a principal at Project Projects, whose work was awarded the National Design Award in 2015. A senior critic at RISD’s MFA graphic design program, he received a MacDowell Colony Fellowship and the American Academy in Rome 2014–’15 Rome Prize in Design.
