Rob McElhenney, an American actor, writer, producer, podcaster, and businessman, embarked on his entertainment journey in 1996. His dedication and passion led him to create the FX/FXX comedy series, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," where he plays the role of Ronald "Mac" McDonald. This venture was a collaborative effort with Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton, who remained as executive producers and writers. Not limiting himself to one sphere, McElhenney also co-created and starred in the Apple TV+ comedy series, "Mythic Quest."

In addition to his on-screen accomplishments, McElhenney explored the world of sports when he became a co-owner of the Welsh football club, Wrexham A.F.C., in 2020.
