is chairman of the board of directors at Wal-Mart, the world’s largest retailer. The son of store founder Sam Walton, Rob Walton has been chairman of the board since 1992. He joined Wal-Mart in 1969 and has served as senior vice president, secretary and general counsel, and vice chairman. Prior to his work at Wal-Mart, Rob Walton was in private law practice as a partner with the law firm of Conner and Winters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Walton is a trustee at Wooster College.
