Robert McMahan consults, trains, speaks, and writes on personal, professional, and organizational effectiveness, including working extensively with leaders and teams on how to maximize their potential through an understanding of individual and team psychological type.

Most recently, Robert served in a senior leadership role for T-Mobile's Human Resources and Talent Development department. He managed a team of 12 internal business consultants who focused on improving business results through strategic planning and performance consulting, coaching business leaders, and creating and delivering leadership training to all levels of leaders.

Robert McMahan spoke professionally and trained thousands of people in more than 250 seminars for businesses ranging in size from small non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.

Robert served as the public address voice of the Pioneers' Division I athletic teams from 1995 - 2005, including the 2003 - 2004 and 2004 - 2005 NCAA national champion Denver Pioneer hockey team.

Robert taught hundreds of working professional graduate students for more than a decade as an adjunct faculty member of the Applied Communications Masters Degree Program at the University of Denver (DU). He was also privileged to teach teambuilding to select first year honors students in DU's Pioneer Leadership Program.

Robert is a certified practitioner of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, MBTI®; with previous certifications in DDI and FranklinCovey. His memberships include: Society for Human Resource Management, Association for Psychological Type International, and National Speakers Association.

Robert is a graduate of Leadership Denver (1998). And he traveled extensively and performed as a student and staff member with the International educational leadership program Up With People.

Robert McMahan's formal education includes: 90 hours of doctoral course work at the University of Denver, adult studies and training; M.Ed., Arizona State University, higher education and adult curriculum design; B.J., University of Texas, in broadcast journalism. He has created more than two dozen recorded audio and print articles on various business topics, authored one chapter in the 2005 business book, Leadership Defined.
