Pulitzer Prize Winning Playwright & Screenwriter

Robert Schenkkan is an accomplished playwright and screenwriter who received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1992 for his play The Kentucky Cycle. His other plays includeLewis and Clark Reach the Euphrates, By the Rivers of Babylon, Handler, Heaven on Earth, Final Passage, 1992, The Devil and Daniel Webster, and The Dream Thief. His writing credits also include The Quiet American for Miramax and The Pacific, a miniseries which he wrote and co-produced for HBO. He also wrote All the Way which ran on Broadway with Bryan Cranston as LBJ. His newest musical, The Twelve, had its world premiere at San Jose Repertory Theatre in August 2014.
