Robert Wright is an American journalist, scholar and award-winning author. He studied sociobiology at Princeton University, and taught at Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania. He was a senior editor at The Sciences and The New Republic, and was an editor at The Wilson Quarterly. He frequently writes for The New York Times, and he started the website, MeaningofLife.tv.

Currently, he works at Bloggingheads.tv, and his talks cover issues focusing on religion, atheism and game theory. The keynotes by Robert Wright describe the future of religion, morality and society, and a future that uses atheism as a moral compass.
