Robin de Jesús is a film and theater actor known for his roles in several Broadway shows. His first film role was in the independent film Camp, and although the film did not achieve mainstream success it gained a cult following of those who loved musical theater and searched for belonging. De Jesús is known for his role as Sonny in the musical In the Heights, and he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

He also appeared in the revival cast of La Cage aux Folles and received his second Tony Award nomination. De Jesús also appeared the Broadway production of Wicked in the role of Boq. In 2019, he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his role in The Boys in the Band.
