Chief Technology Officer at Mashable; Advisor at Parsely, SnapApp & ad:tech

Robyn is the chief technology officer of Mashable -- responsible for product strategy and development -- where he led the development of the new Mashable.com which ushered in a 100% increase in mobile page views, pages-per-visit and ad engagement. Robyn manages the product, design and engineering teams.

Prior to Mashable, Robyn was the head of product at Next Issue Media, the magazine and newspaper consortium (funded by News Corp, Conde Nast, Time Inc, Meredith and Hearst).

Before Next Issue Media, he was the head of product strategy and technology for NBC Local Media, where he led the relaunch of the local media digital sites (nbcnewyork.com, nbcchicago.com, etc.) and the launch of the meta-review platform that powers the Feast restaurant review site.

Robyn was also the chief technology officer and a senior vice president of product management for Ziff Davis Media, but also a writer, covering multiple content areas, including but not limited to consumer electronics, car techonology, software and development, and networking. Robyn has also hosted the PCMag Radio podcast (subscribe in iTunes).

Robyn has spoken at TEDx, CES 2013, Mashable Media Summit and many other conferences, and has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, Fox and the WB network. His writing appears on Mashable, PCMag.com, ABCNews.com, Yahoo and elsewhere.

Robyn has a masters of science in computer science from New York University (NYU) and a psychology degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
