American Actor known for Prison Break

Rockmond Dunbar has worked steadily in feature films and television series, beginning with a regular role in Steven Spielberg’s “Earth 2.”

Named as one of "Television's 50 Sexiest Stars of All Time" by TV Guide for his role as Kenny Chadway in the series “Soul Food,” Dunbar is also known for his work on “Prison Break,” where he played C-Note. In 2011, he joined “Sons of Anarchy” as Sheriff Eli Roosevelt.

Additional television credits include “CSI: Miami” and “The Defenders,” on the Network, “Terriers,” “Private Practice,” “Felicity” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” On the feature film side, Dunbar has had leading roles in various independent films including “Jada,” “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” and Tyler Perry’s “The Family That Preys.” Recently, his directorial debut, “Pastor Brown,” premiered on Lifetime as a Black History Month movie event.

Dunbar, who was born in Berkeley, Calif., has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico and has studied acting at home and abroad.
