Rodney Evans is Chief Innovation Officer of McChrystal Group.

As CIO, Rodney leads the CrossLead Lab, the firm’s research and development team. The Lab’s mission is to underpin operator experience with academic rigor and thought leadership. Rodney and her team innovate solutions to enable adaptability in humans and systems. Through these insights and their adoption, she has applied a broad landscape of academic ideas to the CrossLead model and client-specific challenges.

A pioneer in the talent space, Rodney has overseen the invention and implementation of new philosophies and solutions in complex, global organizations. In addition to her direction of the Lab, Rodney plays a significant role in the acquisition, culture, and workforce strategy of the McChrystal Group team.

Prior to joining McChrystal Group, Rodney had 15 years of experience in consulting, human-capital management, and organizational development. Rodney specializes in change theory, social dynamics, talent strategy, and leadership coaching. She draws her expertise from her extensive experiences with high-level clients in various roles at KPMG Consulting, Deutsche Bank, and as principal of her own consultancy.

Rodney is a sought-after speaker and coach across the country, speaking to senior executives on a wide range of subjects, including the CrossLead model, talent leadership programs, and organizational adaptability.

Rodney holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Strategic Human Resource Management from Syracuse University.
