Ron Browne  

Ron Browne is Vice-President of Smart Living for Judson at University Circle and the former Project Director for the Cleveland Foundation funded successful aging initiative, “What’s Next!” at Fairhill Center.

He serves on the Boards of Trustees of The Institute for Creative Living, The Citizen’s Academy and he is a member of the American Society of Aging’s LEARN Leadership Council

Ron challenges individuals over 50 to transform their worldview of creative living and wellness by encouraging them to explore new possibilities and new directions in the years ahead. His personal lifestyle exemplifies embracing both positive change and holistic wellness. An avid runner and cyclist, Ron has completed over 25 marathons and 4 fifty-mile ultra marathons and he inspires others to embrace aggressive intellectual, physical, and lifestyle goals.

Ron is a former high school and college teacher. As a businessman and entrepreneur, he has worked as a marketing, broadcasting and advertising executive with such companies as AOL Time Warner, P&C/Obie Media, and SJR Communications. He is the former owner of FastTrack Running and Fitness in Cleveland’s Old Arcade and has been active for many years through his speaking and writing in promoting meaningful personal change.

Ron received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Miami University in 1966 and has done graduate work at Miami University, Wright State University and Southwest Minnesota University. He has two married daughters and four “very cool” grandchildren. He makes his home in Cleveland, Ohio.
