Former Football Quarterback, NFL Analyst on NBC Sports Philadelphia, Philanthropist & Founder of Ron Jaworski Golf

Ron Jaworski, former Pro Bowl NFL quarterback, enjoyed a distinguished 17-year career, predominately with the Philadelphia Eagles. Jaworski led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history during the 1980 season. That same year, he was selected for the Pro Bowl and received the Bert Bell Award. He set records with 28,190 yards thrown, 179 touchdowns, and held the NFL record for consecutive starts by a quarterback at 116 until it was broken in 1999. Additionally, Jaworski holds an NFL record for the longest touchdown pass at 99 yards and is the all-time Eagles' leader in many passing categories, including career TD passes and career passing yardage.

Following his retirement from professional football, Jaworski transitioned to broadcasting, serving as an NFL analyst on ESPN from 1990 to 2017. His insights were a staple on shows like "Sunday NFL Countdown," "Monday Night Countdown," "NFL Matchup," and "Pardon the Interruption." He also spent five seasons as the color commentator for "Monday Night Football" alongside Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden. In addition to his broadcasting career, Jaworski co-hosted "The Ron Jaworski Show" on 97.5 The Fanatic, and as of 2022, he appears on 'Eagles Postgame Live' on NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Beyond broadcasting, Jaworski has been active in business and community service. He is the CEO of Ron Jaworski Golf, managing several golf courses in the Delaware Valley, and founded the Philadelphia Soul in the Arena Football League, where he serves as president. His team has won three ArenaBowl championships. Jaworski's charitable work through his foundation, the Jaws Youth Playbook, focuses on improving the health and wellness of at-risk youth in the Delaware Valley. His dedication to volunteer work and service to the business community earned him the Pinnacle Award from the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the Volunteer Leadership Award from the United Way. Additionally, Jaworski is the president of the Maxwell Football Club and author of "The Games That Changed the Game," which explores pivotal NFL games and their impact on football tactics and strategies.
