Featured Contractor on HGTV’s “Color Correction” & Guest Carpenter on HGTV’s “Hammer Heads”

Ron Ortiz, a Senior Project Manager in our West Coast office, has over 15 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction.

Ortiz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts and Environmental Design from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque and a professional designation in Construction Management from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to his expertise in construction management, Ron’s background in design and entertainment came together when he was asked to appear on camera as the featured contractor on HGTV’s “Color Correction.” He has also made guest “Carpenter” appearances on HGTV’s “Hammer Heads.”

Some notable projects include the Altadena Town & Country Club, The Children’s Center at Caltech, The Children’s Community School, Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and Ann Sacks showrooms in Los Angeles and Laguna. While at I-Grace, Ron worked on numerous high-profile residences in the greater Los Angeles area.

Ortiz and his wife Stacey live in Pasadena with their two sons, Dante and Gael, and are active participants in the Pasadena community. Ortiz is a member of the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design, a member of the Westside Urban Forum, a recipient of the 2005 United States President’s Volunteer Service Award, a former board director for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, and former board trustee for the Cal-Tech Children’s Center.
