Dr. Ron Rhodes is a popular author, conference speaker, and seminar leader. He is founder and president of Reasoning from the Scriptures, a ministry dedicated to training and educating Christians in the Word of God and in apologetics. He also teaches apologetics courses at Dallas Theological Seminary, Southern Evangelical Seminary, and Biola University.

Rhodes is skilled at writing in lay language that is easy to understand. In his newest book, The 10 Things You Should Know About the Creation vs. Evolution Debate, Rhodes cuts through the mountain of details on this subject and concisely summarizes the 10 most critical claims that surround this controversy. He sheds light on the current fossil record, the truth about “ape-men” discoveries, the highly-debated “Big Bang” theory, evidence for intelligent design in the universe, and many other issues. An articulate writer and public speaker, Rhodes has addressed some of the largest churches in America, created Bible study materials, and written over 200 articles for national publications. As a teenager, he and his seven brothers and sisters performed as a musical group on American Bandstand, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and on many other variety shows. He worked with a number of celebrities and came to know the Lord shortly after performing at Disneyland with the Pat Boone family.

Rhodes was interviewed on PAX-TV about heaven, the lost year of Jesus, and what happened at Roswell for the show, Encounters with the Unexplained. Rhodes received his Th.M. and Th.D. degrees in systematic theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating with honors. He and his wife, Kerri, live in Texas with their children, David and Kylie.
