Rosy Thachil, MD is a board-certified and fellowship trained noninvasive cardiologist, educator, and gender & health equity advocate. Her clinical and research interests include acute cardiovascular care, CICU, women’s heart health, and health/gender equity. Dr. Thachil has made it her mission to improve outcomes for minority populations within the acute cardiovascular field through her clinical research and advocacy efforts.

As a leader in her field, Dr. Thachil is dedicated to increasing representation of female physicians in cardiology and leadership roles. She holds certificates in physician leadership and bioethics, and has been published in prestigious scientific journals and online platforms such as Medscape and Thrive Global.

Dr.Thachil completed a 6-year accelerated BS/MD program between Penn State and Jefferson Medical College. After completing her medical degree at Jefferson, she completed IM residency at Hahnemann Hospital/Drexel, and cardiovascular fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She is active within the American College of Cardiology and American Medical Women’s Association, and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
