Apprentice Candidate, Successful Businesswoman, Strong Community Advocate, and Champion for Fitness

Roxanne Wilson, an appellate attorney, President and CEO of RXW, Inc., author, popular television and radio host, and well-traveled speaker, recently completed season five of NBC's The Apprentice with Donald Trump, gaining rave reviews from "The Donald" himself. Roxanne was the first African-American woman to compete in the final four on the NBC hit show.

Roxanne Wilson has a unique and varied background ranging from law to entertainment, from public speaking to authoring a book. Her message throughout each of these ventures is the sameshe is leading a balanced and faithful life and has shown the drive, determination, and commitment to empower others to do the same.

Roxanne began her professional career in Austin as a clerk with Justices Enoch and Brister of the Supreme Court of Texas. Following that, she joined the firm of Winstead, Sechrest, and Minnick where she practiced appellate law. During her time at Winstead, Roxanne earned a spot on the immensely popular NBC television show The Apprentice with Donald Trump.

Following her experience on the show, Roxanne retired from law to embrace new opportunities and challenges. She authored the book Footprints in the Boardroom, an insiders view of the The Apprentice that depicts how modern believers can use their faith to help them overcome modern-day challenges. She was the host of Inspire the Desire, a Christian-based television talent show that helped aspiring singers reach their goals. She has worked as a correspondent for several high-profile media outlets, including BETs Black Carpet at the MTV Hip Hop Awards, FoxReality.com, InsidePulse.com, and Mix 94.7s Bridget & Carey Show. Roxanne was a featured speaker, PSA contributor, and podcaster of Scott & Whites BalanceAustin.

Roxannes positive message has made her a highly-sought presenter on a national level. She has spoken to Christian groups, universities, young professional organizations, and womens organizations including the Texas Conference for Women. Over the last 16 months, Roxanne was featured as the cover story in Christian Professionals Magazine and Christian Singles Magazine and is one to watch as a voice for the future.

Roxanne recently joined 102.3 The Rivers Family Friendly Morning Show giving her another opportunity to share her positive and inspirational message with others. Roxanne is also a Jazzercise Franchisee and provides an enjoyable method for women to improve their physical condition, which she believes will, in turn, help them to be stronger and more confident in all areas of life.

Committed to her community, Roxanne dedicates her time and talents to support many not-for-profit organizations. Roxanne served on the Board of Directors of the Austin Affiliate for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Now, through her on-air position with 102.3 The River, Roxanne hosts a monthly Mammogram Mixer at St. Davids Breast Center that fosters a positive and supportive environment to encourage women to get a mammogram. Roxanne has served as a spokesperson for the Make-A-Wish Foundations national Destination Joy campaign and is an Ambassador and outreach committee member for the Foundation.

Recently, Roxanne dazzled the audience at the hugely successful Austin Dancing with the Stars 2008 performance. The sold-out event raised over $580,000 for Austins Center for Child Protection. Roxanne belongs to the Junior League of Austin and is the public relations chairperson of the organizations Resale Shop, is an active member of Riverbend Church and a co-founder of Untitled, the churchs young professionals group.
