Roz Savage

First Woman to Solo Row Across the Atlantic, Pacific & Indian Oceans: Environmental & Sustainability Advocate

If drive, resilience, and courage could be bottled and sold, the name Roz Savage would be on the label. The multiple record-breaker personifies those attributes, leaving audiences on the edge of their seats as she shares the extraordinary stories of her epic adventures on the "Big Three" oceans.

As the first (and so far only) woman to row solo across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans, Savage spent months alone at sea, contemplating challenges facing humanity while raising awareness of environmental issues. Working previously as a management consultant, Savage quit her job and committed to crafting a life of greater meaning and purpose. A captivating storyteller, Savage shares her unbelievable experiences with audiences worldwide, touching on topics of resilience, navigating uncharted waters, and finding magic outside your comfort zone. She also offers practical pointers on how to build a life worth living by discovering true purpose, a sense of belonging, and the knowledge that we leave a world a bit better than we found it.

Since she rowed her last ocean in 2011, Savage has completed a doctorate on the challenges facing humanity as we try to shift to sustainable ways of living. Her research formed the basis of her 4th book, "The Ocean in a Drop: Navigating from Crisis to Consciousness." Savage is also dipping her toe into political waters as a way to bring about positive, practical change.
