Music & AI Expert, Founder at Infinite Album & Director at AI Song Contest

Ryan Groves is a composer, artificial intelligence (AI) music expert and entrepreneur. He is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Infinite Album, where he and his team created the first AI-driven music composers designed specifically for video games that composes in real time in response to game events. He is also one of the directors of the AI Song Contest, an international contest for musical artists using AI as a creative partner.

Groves has been building AI-driven music apps for over 12 years, first with Zya -- an assisted composition app that let users create production-quality music in a cloud-based music app, then with Ditty, the #1 music app (in 25 countries) that sang texts automatically (later acquired by Google).

Groves earned his MA in Music Tech from McGill University, where his work on computational music theory was awarded Best Paper at the prominent music technology conference, ISMIR. He has been invited to give guest lectures and internal talks at well-known conferences, universities, and music technology firms, including TechCrunch Disrupt, Stanford University, Wallifornia Music Tech and SXSW.
