Ryan Stout

Ryan Stout is a fresh face discovering a jaded world.

He is a handsome, clean-cut former Boy Scout who talks about abuse, suicide, and people who secretly cut themselves with sharp objects. Stout finds humor in subjects other comedians are too timid to attack. His exaggerated honesty, delightful insincerity, and cute self-righteousness sell his wickedly witty material. No matter what the topic, this suit clad comic appeals to everyone's sense of logic. And because he understands the need to be universally accepted, he tries to keep swear words out of his act. There is no need for filth.

Ryan Stout is the winner of the Boston International Comedy Festival's $10,000 Stand-up Comedy Contest (2005). In addition,he was a featured performer at HBO's The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas (2005) and at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen,CO (2006). Soon after his festival appearances, he starred in an MTV game show pilot called I.Q. (2007). Though the show wasconsidered a huge success, it was not picked up and never aired. However, MTV was so impressed by Stout's abilities as awitty and personable host, he was immediately offered a job hosting another show. He received the offer while in New Yorkperforming stand-up comedy for Comedy Central's Live at Gotham (2007). He is currently working on his second MTV pilot: Are-make of MTV's hit show Singled Out, co-hosted by, former Miss U.S.A., Tara Conner.
