Sabin Lomac

Co-founder of Cousins Maine Lobster

Scarborough Maine native Sabin Lomac is the co-founder of Cousins Maine Lobster, a food truck and restaurant startup with over 75 units, including gourmet food trucks and fast-casual restaurants. Lomac graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Speech Communication and Rhetorical Studies. In 2012, together with his cousin Jim Tselikis, he opened a single food truck in Los Angeles, looking to bring the authentic Maine lobster experience from their childhood to the West Coast.

After an endearing 2012 Shark Tank appearance that culminated in a partnership with Barbara Corcoran, the cousins began franchising, bringing authentic Maine Lobster eats to unique neighborhoods across the United States. Cousins Maine Lobster has grown to be among the Top 5 most successful shark tank businesses, with over $700m in lifetime sales. Lomac and his cousin work vigorously to ensure not only the quality and consistency of their product, but to elevate and promote the "Family First" ethos at the core of CML.

Lomac has been an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 25 years as both a "big" and "little" brother and was awarded the National Big Brother of the Year in 2016. He comes from a low income, single parent family, and had to overcome adversity as a child, including jail time. Today, he is an accomplished entrepreneur and author who can regularly be seen on a multitude of shows on the Food Network as a host, guest, and judge. But most importantly, Lomac is a proud father to children, Enzo and Isla.
