Sabrina Ionescu is a professional basketball player playing for the New York Liberty. Ionescu has consistently showcased her skills in the league, becoming the first player in WNBA history to record over 500 points, 200 rebounds, and 200 assists within a single season. In 2022, she made history again by recording a triple-double in less than three quarters, the quickest in the WNBA, against Chicago. Later, she achieved the first 30-point triple-double in a game at Las Vegas. Acknowledging her abilities, she was named a WNBA All-Star three times and was twice included in the All-WNBA Second Team, in addition to winning the WNBA Three-Point Shootout and Skills Challenge.

Prior to her professional career, Ionescu's record at the University of Oregon was equally noteworthy. She is the NCAA all-time leader in career triple-doubles and holds the Pac-12 Conference all-time assists record. Notably, she became the first NCAA player to achieve 2,000 points, 1,000 assists, and 1,000 rebounds throughout her college career. For her outstanding performance, she was awarded Naismith Player of the Year, AP Player of the Year, and USBWA Player of the Year in 2020. Furthermore, she received the John R. Wooden Award and the Wade Trophy and was named Pac-12 Player of the Year three times.
