Sabrina Owens is a producer of the film Amazing Grace,starring Aretha Franklin in her January 1972 performance at New Temple Baptist Mission church in Los Angeles. She is also Franklin’s niece and estate administrator.

Professionally, Owens is the associate director of labor relations for the University of Michigan, serving on the team of chief negotiators to negotiate and administrate union contracts for police, police command officers, service and maintenance personnel, and stagehands. Also a senior human resources consultant at the university, Owens has earned professional certifications in labor relations from the School of Labor Relations at Michigan State University, the Harvard Program on Negotiations, and Cornell’s School of Labor Relations.
