As the Chief Wizard at Builder.ai, Sachin Dev Duggal leads a team of innovators and creators who are building a new way to create tailor-made software that requires only an idea and no technical expertise. His mission is to simplify the lives of everyday users and increase access to information technology for those who do not have it today.

Duggal started his career at the age of 14, building PCs, and by 17, he built one of the world’s first automatic currency arbitrage trading systems for Deutsche Bank. He started a cloud computing company, Nivio, when he was 21 while still a student at Imperial College. With over 10 years of experience as an entrepreneur, Duggal has co-founded and advised several startups in the fields of cloud computing, photo sharing, and online education. He has a background in information systems engineering, with specializations in Mandarin, finance, distributed systems, software engineering, computational maths, and operations research with game theory.

Duggal was named World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer in 2009, Entrepreneur.com’s Serial Entrepreneur of the Year, and UK overall winner of the 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year award. An avid tennis player, Duggal and sits on the board of UTS, a new 1-hour tennis league with the world’s top 20 men’s players
