Sadie Sink is an actress who gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Max Mayfield in the popular Netflix series "Stranger Things" and for her role in the award-winning film, "The Whale."

She has appeared on the Time 100 Next list as well as being named to Forbes' "30 Under 30" Hollywood & Entertainment list.

Prior to "Stranger Things," Sink appeared on television in such programs as "Blue Bloods," "The Americans" and "American Odyssey," and on film in the Fear Street trilogy, "Dear Zoe" and "Chuck," among others. She also played the lead role in the Taylor Swift-directed "All Too Well: The Short Film."

Previously, Sink worked on Broadway, with credits including "Annie" and "The Audience" with Helen Mirren.

For her work on the animal rights documentary "Dominion," she was granted the 2018 Award of Excellence for Narration by Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards.
