Moore Recreation Center, where we held some of our activities. I didn’t want any favors, so I got an excused absence from my ballet teacher at UArts and went to the audition with Hollywood Choreographer Troy Kirby. It was great to be on set and to know that my talent and hard work got me there. I was grateful to be connected to such a powerful artist through both of my passions, performance and serving young people. “Sakina’s performance credits include Beauty Shop (OWN Network), Bayside the Musical (Off-Broadway), Cancer Pimp (Aspire TV), The Fall of the Kings, Rennie Harris (Rhaw) and more.
