Sandeep Nailwal is one of the co-founders of Polygon, an innovative blockchain platform launched in 2017 that aims to create a multi-chain system harmonious with Ethereum. Nailwal, alongside Jaynti Kanani, Anurag Arjun, and Mihailo Bjelic, has been instrumental in the success and growth of Polygon, which uses a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism for processing transactions on-chain.

Throughout his tenure with Polygon, Nailwal has seen the platform evolve and expand its influence. The platform's native token, MATIC, an ERC-20 token, has played a pivotal role in Polygon's integration with decentralized applications (dApps) such as Defi, DAOs, and NFTs. This journey saw a significant milestone in February 2021 when the project was rebranded into Polygon Technology.

Nailwal's vision for Polygon extends beyond financial applications. In December 2022, the platform was chosen by Donald Trump to mint a series of digital art NFTs for public sale.
