Sarah Larson Levey is the co-founder and CEO of the cult favorite Y7 Studio. Levey, along with her husband, self-funded the opening of yoga studios around the country, bringing the sweat-dripping, beat-bumping, candlelit yoga experience from Brooklyn to Manhattan to Los Angeles.

Y7 Studio was born out of Levey’s personal desire for something other than the traditional yoga classes offered. Levey took her dissatisfaction and decided to create a different yoga experience where the room is dark, there isn’t a mirror, and hip-hop music plays. The first Y7 class was in a recording studio in Brooklyn, and now the studio has grown to be a bicoastal business, with over thirteen locations.

The company has continued to push the boundaries, expanding into merchandise, teacher training programs and the release of its first book, “We Flow Hard.” Levey is committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates the voices of all clients and staff

Prior to Y7 Studio, Levey held positions as an account executive at L’Atelier Group and an account manager at the Addison Story. She originally moved to New York City in 2009 to pursue a career in the fashion industry.
