Lawyer, Businesswoman & Philanthropist; Britain's First Muslim Cabinet Minister; Podcast Co-Host, "A Muslim and a Jew Go There"

Sayeeda Warsi has a distinguished record in the world of politics, having served in several key roles within the British government. Her tenure included a stint as co-chairwoman of the Conservative Party from 2010 to 2012, becoming the first Muslim woman to hold a cabinet position in the UK. Warsi further demonstrated her leadership capabilities as Senior Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2012 to 2014, during which she was also Minister of State for Faith and Communities. Her influence was further demonstrated when she established and co-chaired the UK Government's first Ministerial Task Force on Islamic Finance.

Aside from her political pursuits, Warsi has made notable contributions in other spheres. She has been recognized for her influence within the Muslim community, and in 2016 she voiced her support for the UK remaining in the EU. In 2018, she added author to her list of accomplishments with the publication of her book "The Enemy Within: A Tale of Muslim Britain". Warsi has also made her mark in academia as a Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bolton since 2016, and holds a Life Peerage that has allowed her to sit in the House of Lords since 2007.

Warsi's passion for social issues and her dedication to making a positive impact is further evident in her numerous affiliations. She is the Chairman of the Conservative Friends of Palestine, a Patron of the Council for Arab-British Understanding (Caabu), and holds the position of Vice President at The Yorkshire Society. In 2024, she is set to release another book titled "Muslims Don't Matter" and she co hosts the podcast "A Muslim and a Jew Go There."
