Scott Bauer is an Associated Press correspondent covering Wisconsin state government, politics, elections, and sometimes even music. Prior to this position, Bauer was an Associated Press newsman who cover Nebraska state government, Legislature, and courts. He also served as a reporter for La Salle News Tribune where he reported on the city of Peru, technical college, and local politics.

Bauer holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Miami University.
