Scott "Scooter" Braun, an entrepreneur, record executive, and the CEO of HYBE-America, has a distinguished career in the music and entertainment industry. Known for discovering Justin Bieber in 2008 and establishing his record label RBMG Records, Braun has managed a roster of notable artists, including Kanye West, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato, among others, before announcing his retirement from music management in 2024 after 23 years. His influence extends beyond artist management, as he founded Schoolboy Records, co-founded TQ Ventures and Mythos Studios, and established Ithaca Holdings. As a producer, Braun's portfolio includes films and television shows such as "Never Say Never," a documentary about Justin Bieber, and the CBS drama "Scorpion."

Braun's entrepreneurial journey is marked by significant milestones. In 2010, he raised $120 million in venture capital through his holding company, Ithaca Holdings, facilitating the formation of GoodStory Entertainment in collaboration with entertainment executive J. D. Roth. Following the acquisition of Big Machine Label Group by Ithaca Holdings in 2019, Braun became the CEO of Hybe America and joined Hybe's board of directors after Hybe acquired Ithaca Holdings in 2021. His leadership role extended further when he was named the sole CEO of Hybe's American division in January 2023.

Aside from his business ventures, Braun's contributions have been recognized both within and beyond the music industry. He was included in the Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world in 2013. He received the Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award and the Save the Children's Humanitarian Award in 2018. His philanthropic efforts are evident in his involvement with various charities such as the Braun Family Foundation and Pencils of Promise and in coordinating the charity single "Stuck with U" by Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande to benefit the First Responders Children's Foundation. Furthermore, Braun joined the board of directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in 2023, highlighting his ongoing commitment to societal causes.
