Mr. Scott Stark, Ph.D. co-founded JBoss, Inc in 2001 and served as its, Vice President of Technology and Architecture since January 2006. Mr. Stark served as Chief Technology Officer at JBoss, Inc.. As Chief Technology Officer , he also oversaw JBoss' expansion into middleware offerings outside of the Java EE stack. He first began contributing to the JBoss open source project in 2000 and later joined Marc Fleury in 2001 to start the services, training and consulting business around JBoss Application Server (AS). Mr. Stark's technical leadership propelled JBoss AS into the most widely used app server on the market and the first open source app server to achieve J2EE certification. Mr. Stark was responsible for the technical direction of the JBoss Application Server, overseeing release management, QA testing, and project integration among the JBoss-federated Open Source middleware projects.
