Sean Newman Maroni is the Founder and CEO of Betabox, a startup that provides on-site STEM field trips to underprivileged students. Companies including Red Hat and Texas Instruments have partnered with Betabox, and 300,000 students have benefited from the hands-on STEM experiences.

Maroni was also the Co-Founder of Nest Raleigh. In 2019, he was recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Education honoree.

He is a graduate of North Carolina State University.
