Dr. Klein is currently a Director at MUFG Union Bank responsible for Stress Testing of the Wholesale Loan portfolio and macroeconomic simulation. Prior to this, he was part of Portfolio Management Analytics at PIMCO where he specialized in Bank and Financial Institution Risk Modeling and Retirement analytics.

He has spoken at several industry gatherings, including the International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers (IACPM), Society of Actuaries, and sessions in Asset Management.

Dr. Klein holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The topic of his Doctoral Thesis: Household Savings and Portfolio Choice (2012)
