Sebastien de Halleux is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Field AI, an embodied AI company that builds Field Foundational Models enabling robot autonomy at scale in complex, unstructured environments. Before Field AI, de Halleux was COO of Saildrone, which designs, manufactures and operates a global fleet of wind- and solar-powered ocean robots monitoring the state of the planet in real time. He also launched multiple category-defining video games companies including Matchday, a pioneer in AI-powered sports simulation; Playfish, which disrupted the industry by turning solitary game play into social experiences; and Glu, one of the very first mobile game companies back when mobiles had black and white screens and actual keypads.

An internationally recognized leader, recipient of the Tech 100 and Tech Fellow Awards and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, de Halleux holds a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering from Imperial College, London.
