Sendhil Ramamurthy is an actor, best known his roles on "Heroes" and "Covert Affairs."

Ramamurthy initially attended Tufts University as a pre-med major however, after taking an "Intro to Acting" class during his junior year, he became interested in pursing acting as a professional career. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in history and then attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, from which he graduated in 1999. After participating in several plays, including "Our Country's Good," Ramamurthy began appearing on television series "Guiding Light," "Ultimate Force," and "Grey's Anatomy," before landing his breakout role in the NBC series "Heroes."

Following his "Heroes" success, Ramamurthy played Jai Wilcox for three seasons the USA drama "Covert Affairs," and later appeared in numerous shows including "The Office," "Psych," "Beauty & The Beast," "New Amsterdam," and "The Flash."
