Serena Williams exemplifies courage, beauty, power and style. Her remarkable tennis achievements, combined with her off-court success in fashion, philanthropy and business, make her one of the most recognizable icons in the world and a powerful voice for women, mothers and future mothers. She was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in 2024.

Considered among the greatest tennis players of all time, Williams was ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) for 319 weeks, including a joint-record 186 consecutive weeks, and finished as the year-end No. 1 five times. She won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the most by any player in the Open Era, and the second-most of all time.

Off the court, Williams established her venture capital firm, Serena Ventures in 2017, which focuses on investing in women and founders of color and has since built a portfolio of over 20 early-stage companies. Also in 2017, Williams launched her clothing label, S By Serena, which premiered at New York Fashion Week in 2019. A published author and executive producer, she introduced her multimedia production company, Nine Two Six Productions in 2023. The endeavor aims to elevate female and diverse voices through content that speaks to all.

Williams’ endorsements include Nike, Wilson, Gatorade, Pampers, Stuart Weitzman, Beats by Dre and Wheaties. Her HBO sports documentary series, "Being Serena," was nominated for a 2019 Peabody and 2019 MTV Movie and TV Award.

A dedicated advocate, Williams and her sister Venus helped found the Yetunde Price Resource Center in her hometown of Compton, California, in 2016. The Resource Center conducts community asset inventory and develops a comprehensive resource network designed to connect residents affected by violence with service providers.
