Sergio Gallucci is enabling a new paradigm for spaceflight: making it safer, more responsive, more transparent and less monolithic. He uses multidisciplinary insights to aggressively decompose problems as a technologist, and thrives within uncertainty. He has designed, built, and deployed space systems within months from concept to orbit, and supported programs across government, academia, and industry as a SME, PI, and advisor. He is also the co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer of SCOUT Space, which is developing sensors and autonomous systems to help satellites better navigate and avoid issues with debris or other satellites.

Gallucci was recognized by Forbes as one of the "Next 1,000 Upstart Entrepreneurs who are Redefining the American Dream", and one of their 30 Under 30 in Science 2024. He is a Techstars and MassChallenge alumnus. He is a naturalized US citizen who has been flying cutting-edge space programs since he was 20 -- less than a decade after arriving in America from Brazil.
