Serj Tankian, a Lebanese-born Armenian-American musician and songwriter, has gained recognition as the lead vocalist, keyboardist, rhythm guitarist, and primary lyricist of the band System of a Down. Tankian's solo career boasts an impressive five solo albums, while his collaboration with other artists includes work with rapper Tech N9ne and folk singer Arto Tunçboyacıyan. His influence in the music industry extends beyond performance, as he is also the founder of the record label Serjical Strike Records.

Considered one of the best vocalists in heavy metal, Tankian's voice has contributed to the success of System of a Down's five studio albums, three of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
