Serpil Timuray has been Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Turkey since January 2009. She joined the Vodafone Group's European Leadership Team in October 2010 and since September 2012 has been a Board Member of the Vodacom Group, which operates in six countries in the sub-Saharan Africa region, servicing 59 million customers and generating an annual revenue of ?6.4 billion. Timuray began her career with Procter & Gamble where she was appointed to the Executive Committee of P&G Turkey. She was also the General Manager of Danone Turkey. Timuray is currently the Chairperson of YASED (Foreign Investors Association), the Vice-Chairperson of DEIK-TIIK (Turkish-British Business Council of Foreign Economic Relations) and a Board Member of TOBB-GGK (Young Entrepreneurs Council of Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges). She has a degree in Business Administration from Bogazici University.
