Prior to joining Astia, Vosmek founded SJ Vosmek & Associates, a management firm that included clients such as PG&E, PacBell (now AT&T), and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Such engagements exemplify her global recognition and the respect she has garnered in her field.

In her ongoing efforts to address the gender gap in venture capital funding, Vosmek has had a significant impact. In 2021, she led Astia's first venture fund of $100M, a milestone in her mission to level the investment playing field for entrepreneurial teams with women leaders.
