Shauna Niequist is the author of five books, including New York Times bestseller Present Over Perfect. She is a bookworm, a beachbum, and a passionate gatherer of people, especially around the table.

Niequist and her husband Aaron have been married for nearly twenty years, and they have two sons, Henry and Mac.

Niequist was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey for an episode of Super Soul Sunday, and her podcast debuted at #1 in Religion & Spirituality. She speaks at corporate events, colleges, churches, conferences, & fundraisers, and she leads retreats, workshops and private events. She worked with a great team to design & host the Belong Tour, a national arena tour, and she loves to officiate weddings.

After spending many years in the Midwest, Aaron and Niequist and their boys moved recently to New York City, where Aaron is studying at General Theological Seminary, and Niequist is writing another book. They remain committed Cubs fans.
