Since 2005, Shel Israel has interviewed more than 400 people in 40 countries about how social media is changing their work and lives.  Shel has authored two hardcover books about social media: “Naked Conversations” and “Twitterville”, as well as “The Conversational Corporation”, a Dow Jones eBook and various editorial contributions including BusinessWeek and FastCompany. 

Outside of his authorial exploits, Shel is an accomplished keynote speaker and adviser to organizations and young people regarding Social Media.

Prior to writing his books, Shel was the founder and CEO of SIPR, a Silicon Valley PR agency focused almost entirely on startup companies.  During his time at SIPR, Shel helped launch more than 100 startups and products.
