Sherrie Johnson is a Contemporary Christian Artist and founder of MCBS Ministries. Johnson encourages people struggling to navigate through life’s difficult seasons. Through inspiring music and stories, she shares how strength and hope helped her overcome losing her ability to sing after a major surgery, seeing her mom pass away from cancer and surviving Lung Cancer as a single mom.

In 2006, Sherrie started her solo career in Contemporary Christian Music. Recorded her first eleven song album with Producer Gary Smith at Nottingham Records. She founded MCBS Ministries, LLC (My Child Be Strong) that same year. She studied with Grammy Award-winning vocal coaches Kim Wood-Sandusky and Renee Grant Williams in Nashville, Tennessee, and worked with Grammy-Award winning producer Lynn Nichols. She recorded her second and third albums at Nashville’s legendary Blackbird Studios and Cash Cabin Studio, home of Johnny Cash’s recordings as well as The Guest House and Vibe 56 studio.
