Sherry Ratay is an internationally-acclaimed, celebrity colorist, award-winning color expert, salon owner and bi-coastal colorist at Gavert Atelier in Beverly Hills California, Sherry travels all over the country to train and educate other professionals; she has had the pleasure and opportunity to make people look and feel beautiful for the past 20 years.

After deciding to dedicate her career to hair color, her hard work is truly paying off. As a respected professional in the community, Sherry's advice has been attributed in Salon Today, American Salon, Modern Salon Magazine and Central Florida Lifestyle Publications. She has also been featured in Orlando Magazine, as the #1 Hair Colorists for women and men in the Central Florida area.

Additionally, she was the winner of the Redken Hair Color contest and was featured in Vogue Magazine. This award led to her selection as a Redken Regional Performing Artist for 7 years where she taught other enthusiastic Hair Colorists. Since leaving Redken, Sherry continues to intensely train with all of the major manufacturers in hair color including Wella, L'Oreal Professionel, Alfaparf, Davines, etc. In addition, she has been attending the Redken Symposium's, which are held bi-annually, since 1994. Sherry has also attended the Beauty Focus, Color America, Behind the Chair and Table of Ten with Beth Minardi.

Furthermore, Sherry travels nationwide to train with many of her other mentors. Sherry's passion for education does not stop there. Along with being well versed in teaching all of the other color lines that L'Oreal Professionel has to offer, Sherry's newest ventures have lead her to becoming a certified teacher of L'Oreal Professionel's newest breakthrough in permanent hair color, INOA (Innovation No Ammonia) Color. This innovation is considered to be the new essential permanent hair color standard and the future of hair color.
