21-year-old Shilese Jones is a 3-time medalist in the World Gymnastics Championships and hopeful competitor for the 2024 Olympics. In 2020, Jones was named to the U.S. National Team and helped the U.S. win gold at the World Championships. In 2021, she won the all-around silver at the Winter Cup, and received two more silver medals in 2022. She was pronounced the 2022 World team champion. In 2023, she was named the U.S. uneven bars champion, all-around silver medalist and floor exercise bronze medalist.

Jones remembers beginning gymnastics at the age of four. At the age of 12, Jones made history at JO Nationals by completing a new skill was neither in the JO nor Elite Code of Points. The move was accepted into the JO Code of Points and has been officially named the “Jones.”
