Shirley-Ann Behravesh is an assistant professor in Global Sustainable Enterprise with the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Behravesh is also a Senior Global Futures Scientist with the Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation. Behravesh holds degrees in management, finance, manufacturing engineering and sustainability.
Behravesh's research focuses on strategies to encourage adoption of sustainability and innovation practices within organizations and communities. Behravesh has significant project management experience with sustainability projects. She has worked with European partners on several multi-million dollar sustainability projects, including sustainable technologies, transportation, construction, food and businesses.
She plays an active role with non-profits such as the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC), the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC) and serves on the advisory board for the MSI Research & Development Consortium and the Climate Action Advisory Council for the City of Tucson. Behravesh has held prestigious speaking engagements in the US and internationally on topics of sustainability, innovation, and diversity.
