Shobana Radhakrishnan is Senior Director of Engineering, Google TV, focused on leading next-generation TV experience, personalization and cloud systems. Prior to this, she held various technical leadership roles at Roku, Mindflash Technologies, Yahoo, Symantec and Netflix building high-scale consumer systems.

Radhakrishnan is an active conference and keynote speaker including international conferences such as Amazon AWS Reinvent, Streaming Media Connect, QCon, Grace Hopper, and Yahoo Conferences. She has been conferred the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University and was a finalist at the Silicon Valley Best CIO Awards in 2015.

Radhakrishnan moved from India to the US to pursue a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. An advocate for racial and gender diversity in STEM for over 20 years, she founded a scholarship for women in engineering and computer science at the university in honor of her father.
