Shu Matsuo Post is a TED speaker, writer and equity visionary based in Japan. He is the author of I Took Her Name where he shares his unique experience on changing his name after marriage in Japan.
As a feminism advocate, he also took 7 months of paternity leave from his full-time work when he and his wife welcomed their first child in the fall of 2020. Outside of his full-time work and being a father and a father, he works with organizations on how we can better promote gender equity in the workplace.
Post also teaches students in Japan how to confront gender expectations to live a more vulnerable, freer, and happier life.
