Sigtryggur Baldursson is the managing director for Iceland Music Export, an organization that brings together the disparate strands of Iceland’s eclectic music scene under one roof. A longtime practicing musician for over 20 years, he is a founding member of the Sugarcubes and the Bad Taste (Smekkleysa) label. He hosts a TV show about Icelandic music, Hljómskálinn, for the National Broadcasting Service RUV.
