Best known for his frequent appearances on The Food Network, Simon Majumdar has a perfect recipe for transformation: go everywhere, eat everything. Majumdar uses this mantra to guide his joyful life. Whether you're busy being a judge on Iron Chef or trying to keep up with life, Majumdar urges us to slow down and roast a chicken. Oh, and don't forget a glass of red wine!

Simon has starred in Next Iron Chef for the past three seasons as a judge and the network's "toughest critic." He is also the author of two bestselling food & travel memoirs, Eating for Britian, which is an attempt to construct the perfect day's British eating based on a year long journey around the U.K. and Eat My Globe where Simon sets out on a yearlong, round-the-world flavor forage. At the age of 40 he quit his well-paid career of twenty years in illustrated book publishing and set of on a journey to "go everywhere, eat everything". This journey took him to over 30 countries in one year (he has now visited and eaten in over 70 countries) and resulted in his first book. It was a travel experience that gives Simon a unique perspective on the ups and downs of following your dreams and the effort that is required to turn them into an entirely new life.

Simon has also become a regular on many other Food Network shows including The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Extreme Chef, Iron Chef America and Back In Time For Thanksgiving. He is currently working on his latest book project, Fed White & Blue which will catalog his journey towards American citizenship as he explores the United States through its people and its regional cuisines.
